Meet the snk Gang
Steve started studying at an early age. He studied trombone, organ, and piano. He also studied music theory in his early days. While in school he had opportunities to go to camps and schools for music during the Summer. Steve went to Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts. He has performed in all size ensembles from duets to classical orchestras and jazz ensembles. Some of his influences are Bird, Dizzy, Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson, to name a few. Steve teaches Music Theory  and Jazz Improvistion. He also teaches trombone, piano and organ. Steve is currently performing with The Highlites and The Bedford Brass.

Kathy Petrullo: Owner/Operator/Instructor/Director of Education and "The Boss"
Kathy started playing flute and piano at an early age. Her education includes 2 years at Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts and she earned her Degree in Music Education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She has an emphasis in Music Therapy.She has taught in public and private schools. She has been private teaching for over 30 years and teaches all ages. She has extensive experience teaching children and aduts with "special needs" Some of kathy's influences include Rampal, James Galway, and her father. Kathy has performed in a variety of setting.She is currently performing with The Highlites and The Blue Moon Tour. She has just started performing in a local flute trio.

David Howsare: Dave started playing guitar at age 13. His education includes 2 years of formal classical guitar. He has been playing out since he was 16 years old. He teaches all styles of music. Some of his influences are: Hendrix, SRV, Van Halen, Stanley Jordon, Andreas Segovia, Brian Setzer, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Albert Collins, and BB King.  Dave is currently in the studio working on a solo project.
Tim Klas: As an award winning composer, Timothy Klas earned both his undergraduate  and graduate degrees at the Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts. While his degrees are in musical composition, he also studied  conducting (with Max  Rudolf) and voice (with Judy Roberts). As a vocalist he has performed  in many churches in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. He is also in demand as a program annotator.
Troy Daugherty: Troy has had music in his life since he was a child. His first area of training was in voice. He studied voice and recieved his Degree in Music from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has also studied Trumpet, Bass and Guitar. With at least 20 years of experience in each. He teaches all levels and al ages. You can see Troy playing with the Fishertown Community Band and the Bedford Brass. He also plays guitar and sings around the area. His influences are Gospel music, Country, Classic Rock, Classical, and Jazz. One of his favorite groups is Rush.
Corey Colledge: Corey started playing bass with formal lessons when he was 14 yrs old. He has participated in several local projects including, Amystika, Condemned Existance, The Kasket Company, and House of Insanity. Some of his influences are Geezer Butler, Cliff Burton, Justin Chancellor, Jimi Hendrix, and Johnny Cash. Corey also does guitar repairs and maintenance here at snk music.
Phil Debsky: Phil,  trumpeter and teacher, has forty- seven years of musical experience. Mr. Debski earned a Bachelor's Degree in trumpet performance in 1972 and a Master's Degree in Music Education in 1974 at Carnegie-Mellon University Pittsburgh, Pa.. He taught instrumental music in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio before taking the Band Director position at Forbes Road Schools in 1988, which he currently maintains.

Mr. Debski has a wide range of performance experience; from small to large ensembles , and classical to jazz. Since 1990, Mr. Debski has played lead trumpet for over seventeen musicals at local high schools and the Bedford Village Theatre. He also played the " jazz chair" in the Big Band Sound swing band of Huntingdon and Mifflin Counties for a span of nine years.

In 2007, Mr. Debski and Mr. Steve Petrullo, of SNK Music, founded Bedford Brass, a group of Bedford County professional brass players committed to music education and the promotion of the performance of live brass music in Central Pennsylvania. The group is enjoying an ever increasing demand for appearances.
Vincent Smith: Vince has been playing for over 20 years. He has performed in churches, musicals, rock/pop bands, and marching bands. A highlight was opening for the Vogues at Everett High School. As a teacher he has given drum clinics and exhibitions in the area.
Ben Rapp: Ben started Mandolin while in Florida. He has been influenced by Bill Monroe, The Osbourne Bros., Jim and Jesse Mc Reynolds, and Sam Bush. He is performing with Mt. City Grass and No Back Road. He has played at various venues around the area including Blue Knob bluegrass Festival.
